Breathe

Last year, I made a poetic short film called Breathe during the pandemic with Corinne Viau (editor/cinematographer), Myroslav Melymeuk (composer) and Jasmine Masse (actor). The film premiered virtually at the 2020 Digi60 Filmmakers Festival, which was quite intense because I wasn't sure how the audience would react but at the same time, I was happy to showcase the film. After Digi60, I submitted the film to various film festivals hoping to do the film circuit, but the film unfortunately got rejected.

It is unfortunate that it didn't go as planned with the film festival run but on the bright side, I have the opportunity to share the film online around the world. I'm excited to announce that Breathe is available to watch on YouTube

The film was shot with a Samsung Galaxy A70 smartphone, using the Filmic Pro app, which is a lifesaver for mobile filmmaking.

I want to thank the cast/crew for their amazing work on this film, which holds a special place in my heart as it marked my short film debut as a writer, director and producer.
